So then I tried a Batman episode I watched last night that worked, and tonight I'm getting the same bizarre behavior. PLEX MEDIA SERVER ANDROID ERROR CONNECTION REFUSED SERIESTried playing another episode of a different series (1080p), it played flawlessly with no issues. Tried playing another episode of Batman, same issue. So I verified while this was going on that it wasn't transcoding and was indeed direct playing as expected. sometimes getting the "your connection to the server is not fast enough." and eventually after a bit getting the lost connection to the server error. Went in to watch the next episode of Batman and it played for about 5 seconds, stopped as if buffering, after about 5 minutes, played another 3 seconds, stopped as if buffering, played another 3-4 seconds, stopped as if buffering, etc. PLEX MEDIA SERVER ANDROID ERROR CONNECTION REFUSED TVThis evening, I notice I finally got the 6.13 version of the Plex Android app updated on my Fire TV stick. I watched a couple of episodes of Batman (480p) with no issue. Last night, I still had the 6.12 version of the Plex Android app on my Fire TV stick. So here's an interesting problem I'm having (might be similar to others' reports but not sure). ![]() If you have the same problem, please post! I haven't changed a thing on either the server or the player side, except enabling and disabling the native Android player. I then switched back to the Plex player, and my oh my, it went smoothly as well. ![]() It was pure luck I guess, that I enabled native Android media player and the same vid just started playing just fine. So I just started to play with the settings on the player side because I know for a fact that nothing had changed on the server side. This happened on both of my android boxes. It basically just says "streaming stopped" and that was it. When I googled, there are a few similar posts on the forum about error message like this but there is always a reason (insufficient memory or out of disk space) however on mine, there's nothing like that. I downloaded the log file and these were in the middle of the playback of the problematic video file:Ģ1:26:52.191 DEBUG - Device is Android (MIBOXPRO).Ģ1:26:52.191 DEBUG - Profile is AndroidĢ1:26:52.191 DEBUG - Updated play state for /library/metadata/750.Ģ1:26:52.193 DEBUG - Statistics: (526d1a017ce0259d-com-plexapp-android) Reporting active playback in state 3 of type 4 (scrobble: 0) for account 14564761Ģ1:26:52.194 DEBUG - Streaming Resource: Terminating session 0x7f69010201e0:526d1a017ce0259d-com-plexapp-android which is using 1981kbps of WAN bandwidth. I then tried a few others, all those that need transcode were showing the same error while the direct play ones are generally fine. Playback has stopped because the connection to the plex media server has been lost. The exact error message, after waiting for the transcode to stream, is ![]() I was just playing with my two Android TV box and noticed that a video that was previously played fine started to complain about "lost connection to the server". ![]()
